Nanshan Bamboo Sea
The little train runs through the bamboo nodes, and the panda yawns under the bamboo tips.
Nanshan Bamboo Sea, with 35,000 mu of green bamboo, paints the mountains and hills into undulating green waves. A small railway train shuttles through it, as if stepping into a moving “Thousand Mile Long River and Mountain Painting”. Reaching the summit of the first peak of Wu Yue Di, the mist swirls around the mountain. The wind sweeps over ten thousand bamboo leaves, and the rustling sound is mixed with the crisp sound of pandas gnawing on bamboo. Every breath is filled with the sweet oxygen from the bamboo.

① Characteristics of the solar terms：During the ten days before and after the Grain Rain, the bamboo forest has the highest rate of bamboo shoots. Along the mountain climbing path, one can see bamboo shoots that grow 30 cm taller overnight.
② Tips to Avoid pitfalls:On weekends, from 11:00 to 14:00, if you wait in line for the tram for at least 40 minutes, you can take the reverse shuttle bus to “Shouxing Square” first and then walk down the mountain.

Route:
Self-driving: Exit at “Liyang South” on Changshen Expressway → Turn onto Provincial Road 360 for 15 kilometers. The parking lot in the scenic area costs 20 yuan per visit.
High-speed rail: Take a taxi to “Liyang” Station, which takes about 25 minutes and costs around 45 yuan. Or take Bus No. 22 for 40 minutes to reach the door.
Tourist Special Line: At Tianmu Lake Tourist Center, there is a free shuttle bus from “Lake to Bamboo Sea” (one departure per hour from 9:00 to 16:00).
