Introduction

Global Animation & Game Valley (Joyland) is located in Taihu Bay Tourism Resort, Wujin District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Covering an area of approximately 1,500 mu (about 100 hectares), it is a National 4A-Level Tourist Attraction. With animation art and game culture as its core themes, the scenic area creates digital cultural interactive experiences through the integration of virtual and real technologies, forming a differentiated thematic positioning from Disneyland and Universal Studios. The park consists of ten major themed zones, including Taobao Street, Mole Manor, and Interstellar Legend. It is home to nearly 30 amusement facilities, such as “Sky Screen Fantasy”—the only sky dome theater in Chinese mainland and the second in the world, “Mystery of the Clouds”—Asia’s first 360-degree circular roller coaster, and “Starry Sky Tornado”—Asia’s tallest, longest, and fastest flying roller coaster.

Phase II of the project, known as Joyland Ocean, opened in July 2014. It includes four experience zones: Perfect Water World, Rock Kingdom, Fantasy Forest, and Taihu Bar Street, adding new attractions such as a Ferris wheel capable of both revolution and rotation, and a Flying Rocket Tower. The park is equipped with the National E-Sports Expo Center and Joyland Grand Theater, the latter featuring the world’s first indoor panoramic 3D show. The scenic area has been awarded titles including “China Top 10 High-End Tourism Brands,” recognized as a National Popular Science Education Base in 2022, and selected into the list of National Cultural Industry Demonstration Bases in 2024. In 2020, it implemented a free ticket policy for medical workers nationwide, and Changzhou’s medical team members who aided Hubei can enjoy lifetime free admission to the park.

The Taihu Bay Music Festival has been held at Joyland since 2025, featuring pop and rock themed performances. It utilizes full curved surface seamless screen technology to create a multi-dimensional stage space. In recent years, the scenic area has continuously enhanced the tourist experience through thematic activities and technological innovations, striving to build a surreal digital entertainment fantasy world.

Challenge world-class thrill rides! The “Nebula Launch Coaster” accelerates to 100km/h in just 3 seconds, while the “Sky Drop” plunges 60 meters for an unforgettable rush. For water fun, “Volcano Rapids” takes you through swirling currents and splashing waterfalls—perfect for adventure seekers.

Sci-Fi & Anime Immersion

Step into your favorite fantasy worlds! Explore the neon-lit “Cyber City” with futuristic streetscapes, meet life-sized characters from popular anime, and enjoy 5D cinemas that blend 3D visuals with motion seats and sensory effects. Don’t miss the cosplay parades on weekends!

Family & Interactive Fun

Fun for all ages! Kids love the “Magic Carousel” and “Pirate Ship” rides, while the “Interactive Game Zone” offers arcade games and VR experiences for the whole family. The “Kids’ Theater” hosts hourly puppet shows and cartoon performances, with kid-approved snacks nearby.
